Tyco Pumping Systems' (TPS) Adelaide, Olympic Dams and Exeter facilities have achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification, the latest ISO standard designation. TPS received its certificate from International Certifications Pty Ltd, the same independent auditing firm that evaluated TPS when it achieved its ISO 9001:2008 Certification for Withcott and Stapylton facilities. This further demonstrates the organization's commitment to quality-of-service standards established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

To verify that ISO initiatives are ongoing and quality improvement continuous, International Certifications conducted its Quality Management System certification audits to ISO 9001:2008 standards. This audit happened on 6th – 8th December 2011 and addressed all areas of TPS operation - from engineering, product design and manufacturing, delivery, to installation and commissioning, and customer service. This audit process resulted in TPS's certification achieving ISO 9001:2008 standards.

International Certification Pty Ltd stated that ISO 9001:2008 certification is a significant achievement. The overall aim was to standardise Quality Management Systems processes and documentation across TPS various sites. As noted by the auditor, Continual Improvement is the fundamental approach to ISO9001:2008, and this goes for all TPS processes and documentation.

Effective quality management is indispensable. Especially during economic times like these, Customers want to be confident that they are doing business with an organization that can meet or exceed their requirements in a timely manner. Because it is an internationally recognized quality management system, ISO 9001:2008 certification gives TPS customers a reason to have that confidence.

The ISO 9001:2008 standard specifies Quality Management System (QMS) requirements focused on an organization's ability to meet and improve upon customer satisfaction and quality requirements. As part of the certification process, TPS has established, maintained and improved upon its own QMS to ensure that the company's customer support organization continues its commitment to customer satisfaction.
